R.I.P Brother

There hasnt been an awful lot to report on here to be honest. The bar's still open and will be for another few weeks so I'm still getting free accomodation till then. I've moved up onto the bar now so it should be alot easier for me to get a job behind the bar somewhere else if one comes up. Tuesdays are still Cassette but now I'm in charge of the bar tab which followed into a certain someone leaving early so I wouldnt break my neck falling off stages or down stairs when I get back to the hostel... yes, that did happen. Wednesdays I've been missing so that I can make it to the gym one night. Thursdays are still the bar crawl where I only catch the last bar although I got this Thursday off so that I could do the bar crawl meaning I had to work Wednesday. I'm actually quite thankful for this to be honest for 3 reasons... The first is that Wednesday was pretty good. Work wasnt boring as there was a group of people who were pretty cool and would stop and chat at the bar whenever they bought a drink. We closed about midnight and it looked like they might want to stay drinking so I said if they waited for me to close up, I would go with them to Cassette. The music was better than usual (some beatles, oasis, cure and some old school songs thrown in) but I wasn't interested in the music. I had had my eye on one girl called Roisin and was out sharking. One by one the group left until it was only me and her left... I'll let you fill in the rest. Shes back on the
31st aswell :p
The 2nd is that I could go on my first Frenzi bar crawl. I'm always working when it's on and can see how much fun it is but can never do the whole thing. I'm not going to lie to you. I dont remember much at all except it was fun and I woke up with random messages off random numbers which made no sense at all!
The 3rd Reason was that It was the anniversary of Dave's passing so I knew I was going to be pretty depressed all day but because of Wednesday night I wasnt in such a bad mood, infact it was hard for me to be in a bad mood which I guess was a good thing. I had my usual 1 Guinness in memory of him. Marc and Raks came with me to O'Carrolls across the road from Cassette for it which was nice.
As I was saying before, going out here is becoming to be the same old same old but with a few different people each time. Its becoming stale. So me and the boys have come up with a genius idea... we're going to fly down to Wellington for a weekend! At the moment the head count is 9 but I have a feeling it may become so much more than that!
